The remote and wild landscape adds so much tension — I’m curious if the setting was planned as a character from the start or evolved during writing.

The relationships felt so layered, but I kept questioning who was reliable. Did the author intentionally blur the lines between friend and foe?

The way characters are pushed to their limits felt so visceral. I wonder if personal experiences or real wilderness adventures influenced this choice.
