The way students navigate friendships and rivalries felt so authentic, but I wondered if it’s really that intense or if it’s dramatized for the story.

It added depth to her personality and drove many of the story’s conflicts, but I’m curious whether the author drew from personal experiences or observations.

Sometimes the romance felt like it took over, but other times it complemented her journey. I wonder what the thought process was behind that pacing.
