The chemistry was there but I wondered if the story could have benefited from more build-up before the romance bloomed. Was that just me?

The cozy Christmas backdrop really amplified the romance, but I’m curious whether the author drew from personal holiday traditions or crafted it purely for the story.

Being stuck together during the holidays made their connection feel more urgent, but did it also limit their growth? Would the story have worked as well without this setup?
