The way the aliens and their tech are described feels both plausible and mysterious. I wonder what inspired the author’s vision of their technology.

The tactics and decisions made by the characters kept me on the edge of my seat, but some moments seemed a little optimistic about warfare. Would love to hear others' thoughts.
