The plot twists kept me guessing, but I'm curious what inspired the core mystery and how it evolved during writing.

The kids always seemed to solve everything so effortlessly—am I the only one who thought they might have overlooked some real dangers?

I loved the riddles, but I wondered if they were meant to be accessible or more of a brain-teaser for older kids. What do others think?
