The tension between the characters felt so visceral and real, but I wonder what inspired the author to explore this particular conflict in a dark romance context.

Their chemistry was intense, but the darker themes made me question whether I was supposed to sympathize with them or see them as ultimately dangerous.

The environment added so much atmosphere — I’d love to hear what led to the creation of this world and how much was mapped out from the start.
