Feist's vivid descriptions create such an immersive world — I wonder how much of it was mapped out before writing or developed organically.

I loved the character development, but those moments made me curious if they were necessary to set up the bigger battles ahead or if they could have been tighter.

Watching the characters evolve added emotional depth, but I’m curious if Feist intended their journeys to reflect larger themes about trust and sacrifice.
