While I loved the world-building, I felt the focus on paranormal aspects sometimes made the characters feel less fleshed out. Was that intentional or just my impression?

The lore and setting feel so vivid and immersive. I'm curious whether it was inspired by classic mythology, personal experiences, or something else entirely.

The relationship felt both intense and vulnerable, which contrasted beautifully with the darker themes. Did others find that balance compelling or jarring?
