The confined, secretive environment added so much tension. I'm curious if the author based it on a real place or crafted it from imagination.

Their actions seemed to walk a fine line between self-preservation and recklessness. It made me wonder how much of that was deliberate character development.

The pacing of revelations kept me guessing, but I wonder if the story was planned this way from the start or if it evolved during writing.
