Balancing Austen's style with a suspenseful storyline must have been tricky. I wonder what inspired the choice to merge these genres so seamlessly.

The dialogue and situational comedy felt very true to Austen's tone, making the mystery more charming than tense. Was that intentional or just my Austen obsession?
