Open Season

The title and setting add a layer of tension and symbolism. I'm curious whether this was planned from the start or evolved during writing.

Watching the character navigate suspicion and loyalty kept me on edge. Did others find themselves questioning who to believe as much as the protagonist did?

The story moves quickly but still gives moments to breathe. I wonder what guided the balance between rapid action and quieter tension.
