Seeing Itachi's inner struggles adds depth to his character. I'm curious whether this narrative choice was planned from the start or developed later.

The story humanized a character I used to see as just a villain. I wonder if others felt the same shift in perspective.

I loved the additional context but kept wondering how much of it was planned by Kishimoto and what new layers it adds to the overall story.
