The setting feels so moody and immersive, but I wonder how much of that was planned versus evolving during writing.

Their actions are so complex and layered — it made me question what redemption really looks like in a story like this.

It added so much depth to her character, but I’m curious whether that was a conscious decision or grew from her backstory.
