Hunting Evil

Hunter's background and trauma add layers to his character, but I'm wondering how much of that was a conscious choice by the author to shape his methods.

The rapid-fire chapters kept me on edge, but I wondered if the author planned this from the beginning or if it evolved during writing.

The antagonist's motives and mindset felt incredibly fleshed-out. I'm curious whether real cases or psychological theories inspired this characterization.
