The integration of cultural details added depth to the story. I'm curious whether these were based on personal experience or extensive research.

Many characters seemed to operate in shades of grey, which made me wonder how much of their complexity was planned versus developed during writing.

The story kept me hooked without rushing through key moments, but I wonder if the pacing was intentionally slow in certain sections to heighten tension.
