David Wiesner's illustrations are so imaginative and detailed—I'm curious what sparked the idea for this particular visual storytelling approach.

The book feels like an invitation for children to see the world as full of possibilities—did it make others think about how we nurture imagination in kids?

The visuals seem to carry a lot of the story, and I wonder how Wiesner decided where to let the images tell the story versus the words.
