Fallout

The book has intense military scenes but also some hilarious bits that made me laugh. Did that balance work for others?

The combination feels fresh and unique. I'm curious whether this was a conscious choice from the start or evolved during writing.

With so much action, I didn't expect the emotional depth some of the characters had. Did anyone else feel connected to their arcs?
