Dragon Keeper

The depiction of dragons as guardians gives the story a unique twist. I wonder if the author was influenced by traditional lore or wanted to challenge common dragon tropes.

Their bond grew so convincingly, but I’m curious if that was planned from the beginning or if it developed during writing.

It kept me engaged while also subtly teaching about bravery and responsibility. Is this a common goal in children’s fantasy, or does Wilkinson have a special approach?
