The balance between the romantic subplot and the intense mystery kept me hooked. I'm curious if this was planned from the beginning or developed during writing.

While I loved the character development, the investigative parts felt a bit slow at times. Was this intentional to build tension or a pacing choice?

The atmosphere added so much to the story's mood. I'm wondering whether the setting was based on a real place or entirely fictional.
