The isolated locations added so much to the suspense. I'm curious if the author based them on real places or crafted them from imagination.

Some of the characters' actions felt unpredictable, which made me question who was truly trustworthy. Would love to hear others' thoughts on their motivations.

The romance added emotional depth but sometimes slowed down the plot twists. Did others feel this balance worked well or hindered the suspense?
