The blend of magical world-building and romantic tension felt just right, but I wonder how much was planned from the start versus evolved during writing.

While the world-building was immersive, the story seemed to take a breather at times. Was that intentional to develop characters or a pacing choice?

The magic feels so original and integral to the plot. I'm curious whether it was inspired by existing folklore or something entirely new the author created.
