The focus on court politics and alliances made the story feel very layered, but I wondered if the action scenes could have gotten more spotlight.

The detailed world-building really pulled me in, and I’m curious whether it was planned from the start or developed as the story grew.

Some characters made questionable decisions that felt so human — did the author intend to explore this moral ambiguity deeply?
