The mix of horror and mystery created a tense atmosphere, but I wonder how much of that was planned from the start versus evolving during writing.

I loved the buildup, but the slower middle made me curious if that was intentional to build suspense or just a natural part of the story.

The story felt equally intense in both aspects, but I wonder what led to the decision to give each their own space within the narrative.
