The animal characters and their conflicts add a unique layer to the fantasy. I'm curious whether the setting was inspired by real-world history or entirely imagined.

There were some intense scenes but also tender ones, which made me root for the characters. Did others find the emotional beats as impactful as the action?

The variety of animals felt purposeful and detailed. I wonder if there was a specific symbolism or message behind which animals fought for which side.
