The isolated atmosphere really heightened the tension. I'm curious if the author based it on a real place or created it from imagination.

I found myself wanting more action but appreciated the deeper character development. Was this intentional to deepen the mystery?

The shifting alliances kept me guessing. I'm wondering how much of the character relationships were planned versus developed during writing.
