The Tradition

The way the poems flow together feels very intentional. I'm curious whether the structure was planned from the start or evolved during the writing process.

The poems really made me reflect on my own background and sense of self. I wonder if others found certain poems especially resonant or personal.

Certain images and themes reappear in different poems, creating a layered experience. It made me think about what Jericho Brown was trying to emphasize or connect.
