The way magic functions in the story feels so vivid and detailed. I'm curious whether this was planned from the start or developed as the story progressed.

The romantic tension was just right, but I wonder if the author intended for the romance to be a central focus or more of a subplot.

The pacing kept me hooked, but I’d love to know if there was a particular process in deciding when to ramp up the excitement versus deepen character development.
