The world-building around the fae culture felt so rich and unique. I'm curious whether this was based on existing folklore or entirely from the author's imagination.

The romance scenes felt genuine, but I kept wondering how much of that was driven by the stakes of the Games versus real connection. Am I the only one who got so attached?

The shift in tone kept the story fresh, but I wonder if that contrast was planned from the start or evolved during writing. It definitely made the book more engaging.
