The story’s atmosphere is so visceral and raw — I wonder what the author’s creative process was like in merging these elements to evoke emotion and fear.

The way the characters grapple with their identity and the monstrous elements made me think about how society labels and fears what’s different. Am I the only one who saw this parallel?

The pacing and shifts in time kept me guessing, but I’m curious whether this was planned from the start or if it evolved during writing, and how it affected the storytelling.
