The detailed portrayal of power struggles felt very authentic. I'm curious whether Hailey drew from real events or his own experiences to craft this setting.

There were some long stretches of internal dialogue that made me wonder if that was intentional to build tension or if it dragged a bit.

Many characters operate in shades of gray, which makes their decisions more complex. Did this make anyone else reevaluate notions of right and wrong?
