The setting feels so vivid and lived-in, especially the contrast between her humble origins and the noble world she infiltrates. I'm curious whether the author envisioned this setting from the start or developed it as the story progressed.

Her desire to escape her parents and forge her own path is compelling, but sometimes I wondered if her actions really justified her goals. Would love to hear others' thoughts on her morality.

Xain’s character adds mystery and tension, and his background felt layered. I wonder if his character was inspired by classic fantasy anti-heroes or if he evolved during writing.
