The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, but I wonder how much of that was planned versus developed during writing. Did the author aim for a particular emotional impact?

Some characters seemed reliable, others suspicious — it made me question who really had Nathan’s best interests at heart. Was that ambiguity intentional?

Switching viewpoints added depth but also complexity. I'm curious whether this approach was planned from the start or evolved as the story developed.
