Minor Mage

The way magic is portrayed feels so inventive and playful. I wonder if the author drew inspiration from traditional folklore or created it from scratch.

The sense of wonder really resonated with me, but I’m curious if others felt it authentically reflected middle grade experiences.

The lighthearted tone makes it so fun to read, but I also felt there was real emotional weight beneath the humor. Was that intentional?
