Magic Slays

The story had plenty of magical battles but also tender moments. I loved how both elements complemented each other without one overshadowing the other.

The way magic is woven into the characters’ lives feels so immersive. I wonder if the author drew from existing folklore or created everything from scratch.

The chemistry between characters feels genuine even in the midst of dangerous situations. Did anyone else find themselves rooting for certain pairings more than others?
