The book seamlessly blends love and darkness, but I wonder what guided the decision to give equal weight to both aspects. Did the writing process change how these themes interacted?

The characters often face morally gray decisions that made me question what I would do in their place. Was this intentional to make us think about the nature of right and wrong?

The magic feels so integral yet original, and I’m curious whether it was inspired by existing mythologies or if it evolved entirely during writing.
