Salvatore's vivid descriptions make the setting feel alive, but I wonder how much of it was crafted beforehand versus developed during writing.

While I enjoyed the depth, those sections felt a bit slower compared to the action. Was that intentional to build tension or just a natural part of the story?

Some characters had shades of gray that made me question their motives. I'm curious what inspired those creative choices.
