The circus setting is so visceral and unsettling — I wonder if it was inspired by real-world performances or pure imagination. How did Lilith Saintcrow craft such a haunting atmosphere?

The characters aren’t entirely good or evil, which made me question what makes someone truly villainous or sympathetic. Am I the only one curious about their motivations?

The way demons and supernatural horror intertwine with the fantastical circus feels so natural. I wonder if this was a conscious choice to evoke certain emotions or atmosphere.
