The bond between humans and dogs is so strong here, and I wonder if that was a deliberate choice to add emotional depth to the story.

I enjoyed the steady build-up, but I’d love to hear if others felt some parts could have been tighter or if the slow moments added charm.

Their personalities felt so authentic—I'm curious whether Laurien Berenson drew from real life or crafted them from her imagination.
