The rules around crystal magic seemed intricate, but I was never sure if I fully understood how it worked. Did anyone else have to reread parts to get the hang of it?

The world-building felt so immersive, but I wonder what influenced the author to choose this particular environment for the story.

The chemistry was palpable, but the relationship moved fast for me. Did others feel the same or did it work well within the story's pace?
