Crystal Crowned

The way the magic was woven into the world felt so natural, but I was curious about how much of it was planned out versus developed during writing.

The detailed world-building really drew me in, and I wonder what the author drew from real-world history or mythology to craft it.

The chemistry was undeniable, but some of the conflicts felt like they could have been resolved more easily. Did anyone else feel that way?
