The detailed knowledge of book collecting and history added a rich layer to the story. I wonder if the author has a personal passion for books or if it was purely fictional.

While I appreciated the depth, I found myself wanting more of the mystery and less of the background at times. Was that balance intentional?

It made the character feel so authentic, but I’m curious whether this was based on real collectors or a purely fictional creation.
