The vows seemed so innocent but the story hints at darker undertones. Did you pick up on clues that something was off from the start?

I didn't see the betrayal coming and it totally changed how I viewed their story. Did anyone else find the reveal shocking or did it feel hinted at?

The story stays close to home but kept me on edge the entire time. I'm curious whether this was planned to be so intense or if it grew during writing.
