His use of language and pacing really build a sense of dread. I wonder if he consciously crafted his prose to evoke such visceral fear or if it evolved naturally.

The cosmic horror elements left me pondering long after I closed the book. I’m curious if others felt the same lingering dread or if it was just me.

The story hints at humanity’s vulnerability when confronted with incomprehensible forces. I wonder what Lovecraft’s own views on this might have been.
