The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, but I wonder what inspired the intense, suspenseful atmosphere throughout.

The way characters second-guessed each other made the story feel so layered. Did that make anyone else more anxious about who to believe?

The story picked up again toward the end, but the slower sections in the middle made me wonder if that was intentional or a pacing choice.
