The push and pull between them kept me hooked, but I wondered how much of their chemistry was genuine versus manufactured by the deception. Did others find the emotional stakes as intense as I did?

It added so many layers of doubt and vulnerability to the story. I'm curious if this was a plot device from the start or something that evolved during writing.

Her journey from suspicion to vulnerability felt real, but I wonder if there are moments where her doubts felt too quick to resolve or too drawn out.
