Both Krapp and Embers rely heavily on internal reflection, which makes me wonder how Beckett aimed to evoke loneliness and introspection through this format.

The plays seem to circle around the same themes and memories, almost like they're trapped in a loop. Is this meant to mirror the human tendency to dwell on the past?
