I guessed the culprit early on but still couldn't put the book down. Was the suspense intentional or did it tip too far into predictability?

The setting felt so vivid and immersive, it made me curious whether it was based on personal research or personal experience.

The multiple viewpoints added layers to the mystery, but I wonder if that was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
