Piccolo's design and backstory add a new layer of complexity to the series. I'm curious what the creative process was behind bringing such a formidable foe to life.

Those moments really built anticipation for the showdown. I wonder if the pacing was intentionally designed to mirror Goku’s growth.

The character designs and action scenes seem more dynamic here. Was this a conscious shift in Toriyama’s approach or a natural progression?
