The main character’s ruthlessness feels so authentic — I wonder what inspired Stark to build such a morally complex antihero.

There was a moment where the plot seemed to stall, but the tension picked up again. I'm curious if that was a deliberate choice to build suspense.

The atmosphere really pulls you in, but I wonder if Stark intentionally aimed for a darker, more nihilistic tone than typical crime novels.
