Miguel Mihura was a Spanish playwright and humorist known for works such as Tres sombreros de copa, Maribel y la extraña familia, and Melocotón en almíbar. He contributed to Spanish theater and film, including the screenplay for Bienvenido, Mr. Marshall. Mihura received the Premio Nacional de Teatro twice and was elected to the Royal Spanish Academy in 1976.
